Bass Cottage is a compact, self-contained ground floor flat situated in a range of picturesque old boat yard buildings now converted into individual dwellings.  The attractive riverside location is most unique and features on many of the picture post cards of Woodbridge.  Bass Cottage, being alongside Bass's Dock in the centre of the small boat yard, is within two minutes walk of the famous Tide Mill.  It is also close to the railway station, shopping centre, pubs, restaurants, cinema/theatre and the many facilities offered by the town.

Small enclosed yardThe flat, which offers accommodation for not more than two persons, has an entrance lobby, one bedroom with a double bed, a comfortable low-ceilinged living room with one very low beam (head clearance about 5’5”), a good sized newly fitted kitchen with dining area and a shower room with shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.  To the rear of the property by the entrance door, is a small enclosed yard looking onto the parking area (pictured left) but there are many places to sit and enjoy the pleasant surroundings either along the river or in nearby parks. There is one allocated parking space outside Bass Cottage.

The household amenities include comfortable furniture, a double bed, a colour television, a telephone for incoming calls only, electric cooker, refrigerator, washing machine and microwave.  Cooking, heating and water heating are by electricity.  A duvet and pillows are provided but NOT sheets, pillowcases, towels or teacloths.   For visitors arriving by public transport or from abroad, bedlinen and towels can be provided at a small cost but please remember to request these at the time of booking.

Small, very well behaved dogs (maximum two in number) are permitted, provided they kept under strict control at all times.
